Today, just some pictures of food I’ve made recently.

In no particular order: Various cast iron pizzas (including a Detroit style), a smoked pork steak, and the aforementioned crispy roasted potatoes.

Just a reminder that I am still alive and kicking. It’s been close to (or over?) a year since my last post. I am realizing that blog format is quite intimidating, as the need to produce a long form text about any topic causes a lot of tension or anxiety.

I think sticking to a shorter, post like format might be best for now for more frequent updates.

Anyways, what’s been going on for me? I’ve given up on the game dev stuff mostly as per the last post, and instead have focused more of my free time on cooking. In addition to BBQ and smoking, I’ve also found a few recipes from J. Kenji López-Alt that I love, including his foolproof pan pizza recipe and his crispy roasted potatoes recipe.

I’ve continued to be a player in a friend’s D&D campaign which has been a lot of fun, and I’ve continued working on my house with the help of some friends. I’ll be sure to share a quick post about what I’ve done so far and my experiences there in the near future.

I also recently had the opportunity to visit Branson, MO. and enjoy the rides at Silver dollar city. I’ll probably make a short post about that next and share some pics.
